  30. FaaastPrep (right number of a's?) works just fine under 2.1.  Trust me. I have 
  31. just purchased a 850meg Quantum Trailblazer SCSI drive.  If you want, you can 
  32. boot up the GVP disk and prep the drive under 1.3 then boot up 2.1 and do a 
  33. highlevel format using the 2.1 system FORMAT program for the various 
  34. partitions.  Faaastprep expects that you have booted from the floppy if you 
  35. want to use the FORMAT option within Faaastprep, but of course once you've 
  36. prepped the drive you can use any high level FORMAT program and its better to 
  37. use the V2.1 program if you want FFS partitions.  There are some differences 
  38. between the 1.3 and the 2.X FFS.

  40. You can also use the 2.1 HDPrep but with a GVP card, you need to start it from 
  41. a CLI and use the command >HDPREP GVPSCSI.DEVICE for it to run.
